Jenny Rhynas
Assistant Director, Summer Camp
Jenny’s passion for outdoor learning and working with young people is central to who she is. After growing up at Camp Scugog and running the Leadership Program for two summers, she now plays a key role in shaping the next generation of leaders as Assistant Director.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a Diploma in Ecological Restoration and Rehabilitation from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Education specializing in Outdoor and Experiential Education from Queen’s University. She works as an occasional teacher with the Durham District School Board, while also leading programs through Camp Scugog’s Nature School and Leadership Centre, creating engaging, meaningful experiences in the outdoors.
