Arts & Crafts

Arts & Crafts is for expressing your creative side. Our instructors help participants explore their creativity by making something  beautiful and memorable.

Basketball

Basketball is a great group activity that everyone can enjoy. With six nets and benches to sit and watch, the basketball court has enough space for playing full games, several small games, or to simply enjoy spectating.

Campfire

Campfire is a most honoured tradition at Camp Scugog. Participants and staff gather around our campfire to enjoy an evening of songs and skits. Beginning with energetic action songs, where campfire goers are free to let loose, and close with our well-known guitar songs as the sun sets over the lake.

Canoeing

Canoeing is great for exploring Lake Scugog. Whether paddling through the swamp and discovering new animals and plants, playing canoe games, or learning new skills, our participants are certain to enjoy this great Canadian tradition.

We are proud to be able to offer ORCKA canoeing certifications to campers and staff.

Field Sports

Field sports range from soccer to flag football to camp-wide games of tag. Here participants are able to be active and learn to cooperate on a team. Games cater to the abilities and skill levels of all participants.

High Ropes

High ropes are a new addition to the activities we offer at Camp Scugog. Off the forest path, Leahey Lane, can be found a high ropes adventure that tests skills of balance, strength and cooperation. Groups must work together to overcome obstacles in the sky!
