Dana Leahey
Executive Director
Dana has been the Director of Camp Scugog for more than 40 years. As a youngster, she spent her summers at Camp Oconto which ignited her lifelong devotion to camping.
Camp Scugog has proved to be the perfect career, marrying two of her great passions–social justice and children’s camping. Dana has dedicated much of her life to working with marginalized populations, starting with her work in group homes, and as a member of the board of Maggie’s Resource Center and now at Camp Scugog. As Executive Director, Dana is responsible for overseeing Camp Scugog, and its Nature School and Leadership Center.
Outside of camping, Dana is passionate about her family, friends, and building and maintaining her small homestead in rural Ontario where she is a member of the local quilting club.
