Join us for a week of fun, adventures, and making new friends!
At summer day camp, our goal is to help campers become more comfortable outdoors, build confidence, and learn new skills. Weekly activities will include lots of Scugog Nature School and Camp Scugog favourites: group games, swimming, canoeing, low ropes, fire and shelter building, orienteering, and forest exploration. Children are sure to make memories to last a lifetime, develop outdoor skills, and have oodles of stories to share from their week at Scugog Nature School’s summer day camp!

We are located on over 300 spectacular acres along the shores of Lake Scugog. Our property includes cedar groves, old growth hardwood forests, a meadow and protected wetlands including a vibrant swamp and more than 1,000 feet of beautiful shoreline. It is an ideal setting for children to interact with the natural world, and although most of our time is spent outdoors, we do have a variety of indoor spaces available as needed.
Our home base, The Old Barn, is where the day will always start and end with circle time, where lunch is had and where self-guided play is enjoyed. The Old Barn also houses the Nature Museum, a place to display all collected finds from throughout the day at Nature School.
