Mondays, Fridays | 9:00 am to 11:30 am | Ages 1-4 (with guardian)
Little Sprouts is a morning-only, “parent-and-tot” program where little ones and their guardians will participate in storytelling, songs, and outdoor loose-parts play. The goal of the program is to provide complete outdoor immersion to the families to lay the foundation of connection with nature from a young age. Children will have the opportunity to explore the outdoors in a safe manner to develop their relationships with themselves, others, and the environment.
Prices are payable by session and are inclusive of taxes. If the program has already started, contact us for pro-rated prices.
Programs do not run on statutory holidays; prices are adjusted accordingly.
Sibling discounts and payment plans are available. Please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Every day at Scugog Nature School will bring new experiences and look different from the last. Weekly themes and a basic schedule will help guide each day’s learning.

We are located on over 300 spectacular acres along the shores of Lake Scugog. Our property includes cedar groves, old growth hardwood forests, a meadow and protected wetlands including a vibrant swamp and more than 1,000 feet of beautiful shoreline. It is an ideal setting for children to interact with the natural world, and although most of our time is spent outdoors, we do have a variety of indoor spaces available as needed.
Our home base, The Old Barn, is where the day will always start and end with circle time, where lunch is had and where self-guided play is enjoyed. The Old Barn also houses the Nature Museum, a place to display all collected finds from throughout the day at Nature School.
