Gary Hoey

Gary brings his unparalleled enthusiasm to everything he does. As a former camper at Camp Scugog’s Mothers and Children program, Gary uses his insight into camper dynamics to shape programming and develop lasting relationships with both campers and staff. Gary has a unique ability to understand group dynamics. Whether leading a group of 6 or 60, a fast song, or cabin discussion, Gary engages, captivates and encourages all of our Scugog community. Gary attended Humber College, and outside of Camp, he owns a arborist company, Tree M.D. In recent years, Gary has dedicated a significant amount of time to managing Camp's trees and property, and in particular, the removal of invasive species and reintroducing native species.
