Gary Hoey

Gary brings his unparalleled enthusiasm to everything he does. As a former camper at Camp Scugog’s Mothers and Children program, Gary uses his insight into camper dynamics to shape programming and develop lasting relationships with both campers and staff. Gary has a unique ability to understand group dynamics. Whether leading a group of 6 or 60, a fast song, or cabin discussion, Gary engages, captivates and encourages all of our Scugog community. Gary attended Humber College, and outside of Camp, he owns an arborist company, Tree M.D. In recent years, Gary has dedicated a significant amount of time to managing Camp's trees and property, and in particular, the removal of invasive species and reintroducing native species.
